I was so excited to wear this dress at the weekend. I was somehow lucky enough to get it before it came out but still had to wait a few days to wear it for a special occasion. This dress is so easy to wear and it’s a case of less is more. It doesn’t need any flashy accessories or added colours, let the dress and its amazing scenery print do the talking. I decided to add some chunky wedges to balance the outfit and layered on my kimono, making sure to keep these items as simple as possible. It didn’t need anything else apart from a hint of red lipstick to contrast with the blue.
I’m not usually very confident in bodycon dresses but the fabric and the detailed cut of this dress made it fit to my body really well.
I would definitely recommend this dress to anyone, but you better be quick as they are selling out fast!
Although this dress does suit an occasion for cocktails and a party, I am also temped to wear this more casually with some high tops and a denim jacket in the summer for a street style edge. Keep up to date with my blog to see what you think of this look and other ways to wear this pretty, versatile piece.
I’m wearing: Beyonce as Mrs Carter in H&M dress, Miss Guided kimono and Urban Outfitters wedges.
